pablo esc 1,598
Saw a bitch work in my first few years of hunting, a digging dog. Got a bigish dog given to me in the nineties, another adult and oaks line, pure headcase this one, male, feckr would grab any dog, dodgy. Anyway took it to a heap were the was bramble and a fox earth on his own, he flew in a hole and I could hear just knocking underneath, dug down and he had the Fox dead by the neck. A lot of others can be buyers I am told and think. The also probably losing working abilities like staying only staying about two hours, but the still some very good Fox dogs going well. But I am no expert on the breed. 1 Quote Link to post
pablo esc 1,598
Bayers I mean, and not buyers. Quote Link to post
jossa 966
The blue and tan dog above is a fix killing dog. If you don't get to him quick the fox will be dead. But he's the same on other quarry but obviously can't kill them so as you can imagine the state of him afterwards 5 Quote Link to post
pablo esc 1,598
The bitch I had in the eighties was the same type as that (looks, colour) the boy dog was the same colour as the fawn one above, there was no bark out of it. They were direct Levi Oaks line. 1 Quote Link to post
