Stoater 21
I go beating on each shoot on my local estate, and the keeper suggests this gives access to an invitation to his own day at the end of the season. I gave up my shotgun licence about 12 years ago, preferring air rifle hunting at that time, but I would regard myself as safe and proficient with a 12-bore. I have looked into getting some local refresher sessions at a clay pigeon school, and don't need a licence for this exercise. My query is, can the keeper legally lend me a shotgun for use on his day? He and the landowner would be present, so I would be "supervised" at all times. Thanks in advance for any advice. Quote Link to post

Paulnix 426
Ask the keeper what is required. Most likely be needing insurance at least, plus if you needing the keeper to lend you a gun get in there first before others do same and you're left with that beaten up .410 he uses for rats around the feeders Edited December 14, 2015 by Paulnix Quote Link to post
