stealthy1 3,964
153 in 2013. 143 in 2014. Amateurs Each resulting bag, i should add, was from single decoying sessions. That's even worse if they were trying. 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,562
At last ! "life in the forum" .177 is no more accurate than .22 - agreed but does seem to have an edge on "instant despatch"(for me) - that was where i was leaning with this thread, on Wood Pigeons. Mac, VM, (twats), i was on the verge of buying an Excalibre of Birmingham serial no but the guy just went quiet on it ? So now i am looking into bringing my HW 100 ks back into the fold with a lightweight .22 pellet. (just fancied an Excalibre) that`s all. atb Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Try falcon accuracy plus 13.4gr its the only pellet i use in .22 now days Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,562
Yes Mitch - i will try them. In my FWB Sport 127 days i used RWS Hobby .22 11.9 grain flat heads on the rats. By `eck those pellets under 25 yds blew the rats away but were not at true accuracy levels further out. 1 Quote Link to post
moxy 617
I will stick with the Jsb's. But that's only because I have 9k of them to get through yet!! Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,562
I hope the serial no is the same on those tins of pellets or you`ll be scope tweaking for months,- nine thousand !!! Quote Link to post

moxy 617
Enjoy yer tweaking hot shot I have always bought in bulk. Me and my shooting buddy have often bought 20 + k at a time. Never had any problems until we got a shed load of premiers 6ish years ago. No one else buy in bulk? Quote Link to post

Zimpara 99
Moxy- I don't think half the boys on here have a rifle long enough to buy a supply of pellets for it. Especially Mac. Think he has 10 tins of test pellets. Finds which the gun likes shooting and then sells it. Twat! Lol 3 Quote Link to post
