ferretingnewbie 66
Does anyone know any cheap work digs around newcastle? I live in Cambridge but have roughly 3 months work starting January around ashlington, blyth, Sunderland and Newcastle. Been on usual hotel sites but they want about £70 a night. Looking for 2 cheap single rooms nothing fancy. Cheers
gnipper 6,426
Be cheaper renting a house for 3 month up there wouldn't it?
ferretingnewbie 66
I don't no to be honest. I've never been up there before. We've got a hotel in whitley bay until Christmas eve she only wants £155 a week for 2 single rooms so £75 each a week is ideal but she recons she's fully booked in January. Don't really want to stay in a youth hostel. I tried all the caravan parks but think there either shut or fully booked only let's you book in March
Rake aboot 4,935
I found a site today called AirBnB. Short term rooms for rent and the prices go pretty cheap as well. Hotel in Aberdeen is usually around £100 to £130 a night, BnB usually around 70 buck, this place had rooms for 30 quid and it gets cheaper if you rent for longer. Worth a look.
