perthshire keeper 1,239 Posted December 12, 2015 Report Share Posted December 12, 2015 ive got a lot of freinds that are in serious trouble in the floods...water upto the door handles and nearly off them have gone to self help! as the goverment are doing f**k all to help the inviroment agency is doing all they can to stop them! look at glenridding...i have a few freinds their and the river flooded and burst...thats bad...bit it was all blocked up to begin with...then 4 days later it burst again because it was runn of stones and rocks...to big tom (god bless the man! and some residents) armed with some 20t excavators,dumpers and trailers..with some local contractors helping for free set about cleaning the river out...untill the invoroment agency rocked up and told them all to stop right now or their all getting a court appearance for poultion ect ect.he was told to go away back to his office on penrith very very quickly of he will be buried on the fell side 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
