Alt-Bergs And Lowas

Iv been reading through the many reviews on boots on the market and it looks like I'll be getting one of makes above the only problem being is nobody near me stocks them

Would you lads say trying a pair on first is the way to go or will they ok out of the box if I order them online.

Dont know about altbergs but my lowa combats were sound straight from the box . I take an 11 and the size was spot on and they didnt need breaking in . I got them online from polimil and ive not had any regrets about them

can't really say much about the altbergs, I've never had them.........but I've got the lowa's and had them years and rate them highly and the wife has just bought me another new pair, I think the main thing is looking after them and keeping them well polished and treated with wax or dubbing, you wont go wrong with them and bang on straight out of the box..........

The lowas I like are £160 and the altbergs I like are £100 are the lowas worth the extra £60

Got alt berg defenders...best place to ask if u know someone in army ask them if they can get u a pair

 

Going to try these only cause.. Wife wanting to know want iam wanting for Xmas and I could only think of boots

Some of the alberg walking boots have different width fittings if by any chance you were ordering a pair.
