pesky1972 5,214
Tragic watching this. It's a pity Jones doesn't seem to have people around him to save him from himself. Taking this sort of punishment at his age, and after a lifetime in the sport, surely can't end well. http://youtu.be/txnNuT744MU

Gaz_1989 9,539
Sounds like AJ couldn't do right for doing wrong last night. The doubters wanted him to go further than the first 3 rounds, he did. They wanted him to take some shots, he did. They wanted to see if he had "the heart" to carry on after taking said shots, he did. And after doing the above he did exactly what he said on the tin. Do the lads talking about Tyson fury think his chin is on a par with Dillian Whytes? Youve gotta bare in mind, both them men last night were knockout merchants. They weren't landing half hearted taps. They were landing bombs which have seen plenty of men put to sleep in recent fights. Having said that I still think AJ has got a few more educational fights to look into before thinking about a clash with the champ. Haye and Wilder for a start.

JDHUNTING 1,817
Im in the fortunate position on being completely neutral regards aj and fury and if they went at it tomorrow I wouldnt be surprised to see either win, I wouldnt be surprised to see aj blow him away in 30 seconds either hes certainly got the firepower to do that to anyone regardless how tough or good I dont think tysons that sort of fighter but hes certainly more durable so if he could weather the storm and get to the later rounds I wouldnt be surprised if he stopped aj then. Aj took some decent shots last night and I for one thought he was a goner after that 2nd rnd after that I was impressed as he got a second wind and like he said felt he relaxed a bit which helped soak the punches up better, he will have learned a lot about himself from tjat fight and so will his trainer who I would imagine will have read him the riot act by now. Imo the better of the two is AJ and if he fought the klitchko fury did he would of ko,d him fairly easily. I also think despite his lack of experience he is only a fight or two off his prime given his style, so I wouldnt hold him back to long or he may find he gets ko,d off a lesser opponent and misses the boat. So from a neutral perspective I hope they get it on soon and may the best man win and regrdless of outcome gb has a world champ and hopefully were treated to a career long bitter 5 fight series from them with dillian young fury and whoever wlse right in the mix also.

CushtyJook 1,097
Well all the Fury bum boys were asking the question of how he would react to getting hit and would he have it in him to dig deep and come back and win. Well he didn't go down like Fury did to lesser opponents, he fought a guy with an unbeaten record that had everything to win and knocked him out. I don't know what he was supposed to do? It's too early in his career to talk about a Fury fight, the likelihood is Fury will have been retired by then. He got hit and didn't like it question was answered from previous Amatuer fights now it's been confirmed wilder v Joshua would be great they can Both clout hard and both a big shaky chinned but ild say wilder would loose To aj
