IT MAY BE THE LAST NIGHT FOR A BIT,,THERES GOING TO BE A DIP IN THE TEMPS AND LAC OF WIND...THESE TRIPS ARE GETTING EARLIER...LOL SET OFF AT 2 YESDERDAY AFTERNOON,,,I WAS LAMPING FOR 25 PAST 5,,,ADD 12 IN THE BAG FOR HALF 6,,,THEY WAS DEFFO ON THERE TOE,S,,,IT DID NOT SEEM PROPER DARK,,,,IT WAS A RACE AGAINST THE RAIN,,,I NEW THERE WAS A BANNED COMING FROM THE WEST OVER TO THE EAST,,,AND BYE FOOOOK DID IT COME WET TO THE PANTS,,,,BUT ALL IN ALL A GOOD NIGHT,,,,THE BONUS,,IM HOME EARLY....MARS WAS ON FIRE,,, LONG SILLY SLI[s AT TIMES BUT TO THE END OF THE BEAM IN SECONDS,,,,NOT SHAW IFF ITS 35 OR 36,,,WILL PUT A BETTER PIC UP AFTER SOME KIP,,,

ive started putting a coat on the dog tomo,,,I can have the window right down keeping me a wake on the later trips,,,,,the last thing you want his a dog cold in the back after hits bin at boiling poi

Jim you catch more rabbits than ANYONE i have heard of or seen of on here,how you prepare a dog for such a workload and care for it after a hard night is testament to your knowledge of working dogs..s

Well done Jim,this past fortnight in Cumbria has been a lamping mans dream aswell as a terrier man's.. there has been plenty of critters that ain't gonna see their xmas dinners put to rest that's for sure ... Good stuff the Mars dog ???

true that, keeping the dogs warm after hard+ cold/wet night , I use the heat lamps on them, and it makes a massive difference to the dogs next day . they come out of kennel nice relaxed , no stiffness as they have stretched out all night, and good rub down when wet before the drive home with good towel :thumbs: you always give your dogs the best Jim fair play :thumbs:

Do you run the dog with its coat on Jim , mine don't mind one little bit like but a really good perfect night for me is way way too much for some (sorry Gaz ) our blade has a wax coat which keep him warm on the really wet blustery nights he's really thin furred like a whippet but he is crossed with one lol
