Wullz 408
Had mine of years ago, big fekkin props stood on them too many times, 1 was starting to grow sideways round me toe....got a local and they whipped it oot, some size when you see the whole nail. Was alright till the anesthetic wore off....never had a bit of bother with it since, the skin in the nail bed grows in like a callus...better than having to cut them. Theres a thing for the creationists, why in the name of fekk would a deity design a body with toenails??
Leeview 791
TC, if those ingrowing toenails are giving you discomfort you can get them removed. I got p1ssed off keep trying to trim mine back with a stanley blade, and then when I got a couple of whitlows I went to the GP. He referred me to a chiropodist but she couldn't sort them with her scalpel and organised the removal. It only took about 20-30 minutes to do both, and you get to watch. After removal they apply some liquid which kills the nail roots. After about a fortnight there is no discomfort at all, and been OK since. This is after about 5 days, first dressing change, healing quite nicely. toes-s.jpg Your left toe, I can see Father Xmas Y.I.S Leeview

Tiercel 6,986
Just a little update because I cannot believe it. I went to see the nurse the next day and she told me she could not remove the nail. She also told me to spread Vic vapour rub on the nail bed and tape the loose nail tight to the nail bed. Apparently the Vic vapour rub encourages the growth of nails? Any way done what she said and believe it or not the nail is now stuck back and growing. TC
