tillylamp 1,830
I was reading earlier that they have stripped the IBF title off of fury as he signed for a rematch klitchco in stead of signing for the mandatory fight for IBF with (I think) another Russian. tilly
flipbull 1,139
At least he can say he held it. Could of let him fight Klitschco then fight the Russian if he's mandatory.
dogmad riley 1,347
Fecking joke. Fury champion he has earned it fair and square. Starting to loose respect for boxing, too much corruption

neems 2,406
He's still the champion, belts hardly even matter anymore, there are that many and with stupid policies like this. http://ringtv.craveonline.com/ratings/heavyweight here's the best way to tell who the champion of a division is imo. MickC 1,825
The IBF have made a bad decision stripping the new Champion, they should have honoured his rematch with Wlad then gave him time to fight Glaskov ,after all the IBF accepted the sanctioning fees from the first fight with Fury and Wlad no problems so they must have known about the rematch clause. The IBF heavyweight title will be thought of as just as bad as the WBC title that Wilder has and we all know the antics to how he became there Champion and still continues to get away with it . Do not be suprised if Wilder is already pencilled in to fight the winner of the fight for the now vacant IBF belt . Edited December 9, 2015 by MickC
The Seeker 3,048
I'm no expert but surely it's in their interest to break up the belts with any excuse possible more title fights more revenue for the organisers. Still is a shitty trick though.
