You could try pro-bed,It's treated cut down straw,so bigger than shavings and a lot easier to clean up but he won't be able to drag it out of his house,unless he digs it out. Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539 Posted December 7, 2015 Report Share Posted December 7, 2015 I've done the screwed down carpet and vet bed thing before. It does work but only for a short while. A few days if the dog isn't too bad, a day if he's determined to get it up. Lol. I've also used wooden batons around the outside, sort of like a photo frame around the bedding. But it only lasts so long. That's when I switched to chopped straw but no good if you are having problems with blocked drains I don't suppose. Quote Link to post
