neems 2,406
6? I thought it was 4 or possibly 7,I'm going to have to start writing all of this down. We went to see their imaginary great uncle, they had a great time seeing his imaginary snakes and tarantula and lizard, their imaginary mothers just finished making their imagination tea which we're all going too pretend to eat. But back to reality, please don't insinuate I've ever said or written anything malicious about any child, that's certainly not a line I'd cross.
ChrisJones 7,975
Eugenics isn't really the issue here, but we have domesticated ourselves through dependence on technology and modern medicine, there is almost no selective pressure on humans now. If we applied some selective pressure over several generations,by eliminating people from the gene pool who had inheritable, undesirable traits they would occur less frequently in future generations. Like wise if people with positive traits became over represented in the gene pool over several generations.those traits would become more common. Exactly the same as in nature. Agreed it isn't the issue but the complexity of the human genetics means we cannot breed humans like other animals, based on undesirable/desirable traits. 20th/21st century science has debunked 19th century eugenics hypothesis. There's some amazing books on the subject if you'd be willing to expand your library. Wear sunscreen ... Trying to explain the danger of mohammadans to a liberals... That's the one! I knew I'd heard it somewhere but I couldn't place it until you mentioned Baz... We know the dangers of religious ideology. We know that without a proactive populous there could be another dark age but when you walk in on a group of right wingers who will only focus on one issue...
