Sponge Bob 0
What do members prefer as there choice of bedding they use for their dogs, I personally have used blankets and rags in the past but found it hard to get new ones, I started using the fabric type shredded paper that is available in bales nromally from greyhound suppliers, Its warm and convenient, its only downside being it gets everywhere and needs the odd ruffle. So what do you use
Guest daz halford
predator i use straw, does the job well and they bury them selfs in it. i burn the old stuff in a barrel. at a couple of quid a bale i cant fault it.
Guest Corkonian
I use straw also. Hard to find the small square bales nowadays but there's a farm mear me that does oaten straw just for the doggy lads. 2 euro a bale. Makes the place look and smell very clean and the dogs like it. I put cubicle mats (get them in the co-op) on the concrete benches as well, in Summer I don't bother with the straw.
phil wright 2
used to use cloth pieces which were sold in bales at a local greyhound supplies shop.now i only use vetbed.its never damp and seems to work like the manufacturers claim

socks 32,253
guys a big piece of vet bed is only a tenner ..... it is desinged so that you can put soaking wet dogs on it and the water will drain away to the bottom core where it evaporates .... the top fluffy core stays dry and warm .... it is also completely washable ..... i used to use straw and shredded paper and mats and rags and all sorts of other stuff but since changing to vet bed i wont go back .............
