My shooting buddy had one of these rifles in .22 and it was a pleasure to use,good to bag a brace of woodies,was the wind bad when you were out? What sort of ranges did you take them at? And I've not been out for a while so not really noticed how many woodies are about!

Thanks. Love this TX. Thinking about getting an S410 though. Made the cardinal mistake of trying one. Really nice. Was in .177 though.

Aye, .22 - for those who cannot hit the spot "precisely"

 

.177 is the so called "man calibre" - for those who don`t require back up.

Fantastic and underrated eating bird. I pop them off with my R10 even coming to roost after sunset, so its worth hanging around until dark especially if you have an illuminated reticule or night vision.
