Malt 379
I took my four year old son a few weeks ago & he loved it. Poor little bugger walked for miles & miles, he was knackered but he behaved himself the whole day, he's coming again on sunday. As long as you keep your daughter interested in what your doing, get her to pass you the nets etc. she'll be fine. Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
I am sure she will love it, it will soon become second nature Quote Link to post
Magpie 102
Make sure you go somewhere where there's plenty of rabbits so there's lots of action. Kids get board really quickly as you probably well know. As maltenby says, get her involved as much as possible and pray you don't get a lay up or it will be," dad I'm board, dad I'm cold, dad I'm hungry" or "how much longer are we goin' to be" One other Pearl of wisdom where ferretin' with kids is concerned, quit while your ahead. DON'T! be tempted to do "just one more" coz chances are that's where your lay up will be and it will probably start rainin' too. All the best mate, I hope all goes well. My lads seven now and hes really startin' to get into it. Quote Link to post

mooster 1
Best of luck to both of you. Everyone moans about the state of youth in this country.I'm convinced the answer lies in dads who care enough to share. I'm in my 40's now but can vividly remember experiences like this which my old man took the time to share with me.Regardless of wether we caught anything or not. Well done! Mooster.
