What the actual f**k! Sod that, I do night shooting about once a month. Prefer a Styer.

Bet they are pretty mint though. Id just be out looking at stuff at night with it.

Haha! Have to pay for quality though don't we? I'm just tight (and skint) so Yukon photon is more my style! And the amount I shoot at the minute makes it hard to justify spending anything over a fiver on shooting kit!!

I can really understand where you are coming from but the bottom line is the costs involved with the super units you use, I would love one but I just can't afford one at the moment.   I was doing a

Livens Ltd, (www.livens.co.uk) doing the new Photon XT 4.6 x 42 for £350.00..

Or get The wife to get u one of these for Xmas

I'll have browse thanks, like to see real footage you know,in the field no script kind of stuff so you get a feel for the product not an unnecessary urge to want one...

The N870, can be had in Oz for around £1000.00, as I've looked at these from there, & I work on drillship with few guys who live in Australia so not an issue getting one picked up by someone, brought to Singapore for me to bring home, if I should eventually decide to buy NV.

I suppose. Id just prefer something bigger than a milk bottle for a grand and a half. Like a Styer LG110... funnily enough.

Dont need a new PCP though. Want a RM now :)

What's the glare like off the monitor?

not a problem at all, if you are worried about glare then just get some 50% window tint and cover the screen with that, it takes any glare off the screen at all, I have tried all colours and the 50% is the best too use,

To be honest I,ve not had a problem with the glare of the screen usually because I have a 2.5 inch lcd / recorder on top of the screen for recording purposes

They not bad if you dont use more ir than you need and stick some of the green filter on
