Wouldnt it go right threw the window, got to be mental to be a serial killer lol. I dont think he should ever be free, that would make me mental. I just dont think he should be sent to prison for something he commited when mentally ill. Its like punishing him for something he had no control over. Mental health seems to be over looked for the simple fact you cant see it. Even if they think his illness can be controlled i think a hospital is the best place just incase. On the subject of sick c**ts, was ian brady ever diagnosed with anything? Not thinking i know lets all make excuses for the animals. I know brady is kept in a hospital but with him he tried to cover his crimes n get away with it so he knew what he was doing was wrong. If it was one of your family this arsehole had killed, would you want him in a nice cushy padded cell or would you want him to suffer as much as possible? I know what I'd want. I'd prefer to do time in a real jail myself Been in many mate, some good some not so good. Most of the 'patients' are medicated up to the hilt and sit around watching TV all day. As long as they behave then its not a bad ride, dull and repetetive, but bearable. Was in one a couple of weeks ago and one fella had been in seclusion for over a month, kept in a small room with a serving hatch. Well ideally that's the treatment he'd recieve but it's not like that's what he would of got in normal jail. Would of had his own cell with TV and PlayStation etc. Secure psychiatric facilities aren't some cushy option when compared to normal jails, they're pretty fecking similar with the added bonus of being surrounded by screaming nutters. There's folk in Broadmoor that would do anything for a chance to be moved to a normal jail, wouldn't be surprised if Sutcliffe himself is pretty pleased with the news.
