Interesting comments from various posters,...   I think we all get some hassle with young lurchers,..it's just the way of things,..however,..a massive reason why some enthusiasts encounter constant

I'd give him it, at the end of the day things happening when we're out that we probley would never admit to, get him out and run the balls off him it will channel all that prey drive urges the lot,,, no amount of excrises makes up for the mental satafcatioin of run in the arse of prey, and theses coursing type are worst and with that little dash of bull,,,, needs it more than you'll ever know

Didn't know it was on love.

When he does get behind something all that excercise and shaping will pay off. Same as my other dogs just this cnut is slower maturing and I ain't taking a dog in the field that's a liability ;)

Esp with wild boar about

i find with saluki types like this is they need a hammering. Not with your fist lol but shit loads of work. You gotta stimulate his mind. He will have a huge instinct to want to hunt and to run. You need him to see you as the source of this release. Most saluki types show this trait. Even more so in pet home who limit there hunting options. So they bugger off to open them options. Also they love to run. Twice a week with mine im in the field on the quad in big 100+ acre fields just blasting round with them to get them to stretch out for 30mins or so . Helps on top of the work load to mellow them out. The more i do with them the more biddible they are. Most the time you think your doing enough with saluki types but most time your just touching tip of the iceberg. Do more with him mate he will come on
