mackem 27,543
Our culture is dilute, anything we have faces slow erosion over time due to the "multiculturalism" thats forced upon us,london now has more languages spoken in it than any other city in the world, more than 230 languages if i remember correctly?EID and Diwali have bigger celebrations in e uk than british day which might have a few token events and mentions on TV or similar but no real nationwide pride,we are ashamed to feel pride in our country, visit somewhere like Gib on Gibraltar day to see what true pride is,sad but true.
charlie caller 3,654
What the fu*k is British????? Apart from a political contrivance by the left,an Asian, or a Negro can be British by birth, is the old boy unwittingly celebrating their Britishness I wonder, Britishness is simply a meaningless term, a political ideology, is this "British day" a new card played by the liberal elite, who are terrified at the rate we are beginning to re-assert our English identity? The simple slapping of the "British" label on everything English by the establishment, is plain to see, from the programmes on television, to the label on your butter, this is nothing more than an attack on English self esteem and national awareness, boll*cks to Britain, Englisc forever.

neil cooney 10,416
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_National_Dayin that link where it says st Patricks day in n,ireland??? We don't really celebrate st Patricks day here, how ever the city centre looks like a Celtic football club promo day as the town is flooded with Celtic supporters lol, now I duno what part st Patrick played in the Celtic football team lolol in scotland Always made me laugh those Celtic supporters. Singing Irish Rebel songs supporting a multi-cultural Scottish team playing a British sport. Oh, and St Patrick himself was born in France, but we wont hold that against him.
