neil cooney 10,416
JMHO but the hare didn't deserve to be killed in the ditch. 2 Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
But you could also say that the dog deserved to catch after a punishing run on very wet ground. 1 Quote Link to post

Absolutely Skycat, that could be argued and if he was my dog I'd be chuffed but he had 3 minutes to have a go and didn't. Opportunity favoured the dog and not the hare, but IMO the dog got lucky. Good dogs should make their own luck. Quote Link to post
desertbred 5,490
The dog worked a strong hare until it made a mistake, then it took it out. That is what good dogs do. Most wizz bangers would have been burnt out on that hare. Edited December 1, 2015 by desertbred 1 Quote Link to post
DogFox123 1,379
To be fair a lot of whizz bangers would have caught these Hares quicker, thought proper coursers give fair law? Quote Link to post
chicken george 38
I don't worry if it caught in the biggest field on the fen cover ditches woods or whatever as long as it's caught dogs run for 3 or 4 mins giving all its got I'd never think hare deserves to get away Quote Link to post
