gnasher16 30,025
In terms of miles on the clock Collins had far less wear and tear than Benn/Eubank......i dont believe for 1 minute that had Collins fought either man at their peak he would of beaten them,he may well of gone the distance as he was a very tough guy......but for boxing ability and timing he didnt come close. Benn is on record many times as saying Michael Watson was better than all of them.
gnasher16 30,025
His pal who died used to come in a boozer I frequented at the time, he used to come in with the other lad who also died and them boys used to know how to enjoy themselves so I can see how Nigel would have been out and about having it large. A lot more was made of all that than it actually was but the one man behind most of the madness at that time who was also behind most of the court cases was the only one to come out of it all relatively unscathed and still doing his thing to this day......Ambrose Mendy. Yes I have heard that mate, I only crossed paths with them lads a handful of times and only in the way that you say hello to a familiar face in the boozer......I didn't know them as such. I know of Mendy obviously but I don't know much about the man, no reason too.

gnasher16 30,025
was the 3 stiffed in the land, rover up the lane involved with benn, 1 of them attached himself to Nigel for the prestige/notoriety that minding a world boxing champion brought when in reality he probably had more wealth than Benn did .....and the other 2 were completely unknown to Benn. DogFox123 1,379
Benn knew Tucker and Leach, they both walked to the ring with him for the McCllelan bout.
