Had w very good start to the season my pup had a few retrieved foxes 3 in one night the other week and is running well as for my other dog he isn't very fit at the moment due to running pup a lot but I'll have him fit just after Christmas and get him out aswell but he is more of a fur and feather dog but when fit don't miss much

Started very well then had an eye infection which only lasted a few days, the dog ripped his leg open on farm machinery which put him out for a month then had 6 trips out and now has a tooth infection which vet says is a broken jaw but I highly doubt it. Broken tooth, puss coming from tooth and lump underneath said tooth ?

Not very well tbh, i work arable land [not much pasture around me] the land is sodden, you can hardly walk it, could do with either strong winds and no rain for a week or a really hard frost, we,v had niether.

It's the same here pal but dont stop me

mines ticking over steady no big bags this year best ive done is 40 local with 2 dogs had a good few mid 20s with just my dog, ideally i could do with leaving alot of my local ground alone for a season. the only trouble is i find hunting with the dog addictive the more you do the more you want to do, i find it hard to stop in.

Wasnt doing to bad till my dog ripped his far side back leg and needed stitches the otherday whilst at the fell so im a bit miffed but itll be ok you have to take the good with the bad. Either way theres not much to loose because mixys killed of most my perms.

When i was in my 20s, 30s or even 40s it wouldnt have stopped me, but iam nearer 60 than 50, it f***ing hurts these days, it takes me longer to recover than the dog  .
