When i went lamping last night it was good with a bit of drizzle but then it started chucking it down thunder and lightening

my top half was fine because my wax jacket does the business but when i go out i just wear tracsuit trouser and my legs were absolutly soaked

I have been wanting to buy some trousers for a long time but haven't got a clue what to get because i don't want waterproofs because the rustling does my head in and its too loud

what do you boys wear or does anyone know of any trousers that are good to wear out when lamping?

and i dont want to spend hundreds on a pair of trousers id like to spend up to £50-£60

I bought my Goretex over trousers from this guy: very helpful, and they were only about £20, very good if your'e on a budget.

His email is: sales@Camo4U.co.uk

or if your'e feeling flush then visit the John Norris site

undefinedhttp://www.johnnorris.co.uk/system/shopassistant.htm

loads of stuff: leggings, over trousers etc. Not all at mad prices either. You can give them a bell and order by phone too and they're very helpful.

i went through all manner of shit before i got the deerhunter trousers, cheap carp that ok doesnt cost much but if your out a lot then why not be comfortable? some cheap crap will keep you dry but it will sound like your wearing a crip packet for trousers, game will hear you miles away, some wont and leak like a seive but are quiet, spend a few bob and in the long run you wont waste your coin on crap before you end up buying what you should have bought in the first place!

I'm saving my pennies for a pair of Seeland broadland trousers, I'm fecking tired of having my legs tore up.

and I've just seen the new Thornhill womens' trousers from Seeland: looks like they should put paid to ripped trousers when I'm crashing through bramble in search of a terrier. LOL Gotta agree, not worth buying cheap stuff as it never lasts as long, as well as sounding like a crisp packet :laugh:
