slipper 116
Anyone using one on a 22? If so what do you think of it? Thanks Quote Link to post
goldfinger 135
I use a nitesite Wolf on my .22 and .17 hmr awesome bit of kit seeing out to 300 plus depending on terrain perfect bunny basher good one fox as well, good clear image good field of view, need a scope with parrelax adjust though also I find that you don't have to use an expensive scope to best out of unit,I got mine on a 45 quid scope on .17 with no probs at night used it on 200 + scopes still gone back 45 quider on .17,on my .22 I use it on a Nikon Prostaff it doesn't have parallax adjust its ok because all my.22 shooting is only up to around yards at night. wabbit slayer 16
Not got or used one but quite a bit on you tube about them, I also was thinking about getting the viper due to the cost of the wolf. But apparently you can make the viper loads better by adding another IR. Quote Link to post
slipper 116
Thanks lads yeah the nm800 ir looks ok it would only be for rabbits and if it's ok to 150 yards I could put it on my 223 for foxing Its the idea of not having a nv scope permanently on the rifle that I like Quote Link to post

goldfinger 135
I sometimes use my NS Wolf with a t67 940nm turning off the 840nm ir on the unit,I still get same distance but not as much field of view, it then gives out a less red glow from ir ideal for weary charly, downside to this is the added extra weight. The extra distance when using rimfire given out by some ir units is always good to have especially for spotting whilst stalking or using a centre fire round.
