Something I found out recently via my newly aquatinted Indian friend was that 'Indian restaurants' Are either 98% Pakistani or Bangladeshi and not actually 'Indian' I thought that was interesting, he comes from a family who specialises in cuisine and yes, as you can imagine I don't mind going around there for tea! Yeah what we know as "Indian" food with all the heavy rich sauces etc is actually northern India/Pakistani food. I actually much prefer south Indian food, dry roasted spiced vegetables etc, fecking cracking stuff I'll settle for anything northern or southern as long as it's home cooked by a real old Indian matriarch though Im with you on that one so why when we go in a takeaway do we only see men cooking and preping the food? they certainly dont at home Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post Share on other sites
