Fat-Ferret 857
My old bitch caught a couple of lucky ones one season when it was very cold and there seemed to be a lot in our area....I loved to watch her creeping down the beam like a cat, good old bitch she was. 1 Quote Link to post
beast 1,884
my youngestbitch is the best bird dog i've ever owned, pheasant partridge pigeon collared dove, some bird or other most days. one night when i let her out to empty she went off into the little copse behind the cottage and brought a woodcock back live to hand, i warmed it up and let it fly off. only one i've ever caught, made a really weird croaking sort of noise when the dog was carrying it 2 Quote Link to post
