Kal 17
Thought I'd post - I gave my older brother (who makes orthotics) the brief for making a wrist-braced slingshot, capable of using heavy bands/ ammo. I wanted the force of the draw to be absorbed by the slingshot, including the recoil - no 'flipping' at the end of the shot to compensate. After about 2 years and several re-workings/ tweakings this is what he came up with. Preliminary test-shots have been good so far... I don't expect it to be everyone's cup of tea though! Kal 17
Thank you! It was a bespoke job...built to fit, even down to the pistol grip. I bought him many beers for his efforts! NB: The front end (just behind the handle) is hinged to facilitate folding to fit in a back pack... cattykid123 122
If it works it's good enough but personally I think it looks like you have pinched the wrist brace off the electric chair then glued it to a black widow aha Edited November 25, 2015 by cattykid123
Kal 17
No, it was essentially scraps out of the metal waste bin in my brother's factory, except for the handle which did come from a BW. Even then the handle was adapted to fit my hand grip.
