They say you should not breed from a bitch that has had 1. If it's not gone by the time its 7 months you could get it fixed insure the dog now just in case. Not that it will be expensive. low plains drifter 10,486 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Share Posted November 24, 2015 I had a bitch pup in a litter i bred with this type of hernia, it could be pressed back in which the vet said was a good thing, and if it had been a hard lump that stayed put she would've had to have surgery, the people that bought her were'nt put off as they had a working bitch that had been living with this type of hernia for years with no problems atb Quote Link to post
