mattyg 1,862
My "everlasting" supply of free seasoned oak/ash may be coming to an end so it looks like I'll have to supplement my supply by actually paying for wood. Anybody have any idea roughly what I should be paying per tonne bag or how ever they come? Cheers,Matt P.s. Midland based.
Fellman Mark 607
If you happy with used timber and don't mind a bit of graft ask builders if you can have there off cuts and wood they take out I have people that take all my waste wood foc

Bosun11 537
£40 to £50 for the bag is about right so i gather. Trying to make friends with a tree surgen is the best option but they all seem to have enough friends already...

Used to sell a cab star tipper load for about 45-50 I think hard wood. Shame you don't have some of this going on near you mountains of points we used to push over the edge to rot though managed to flog a few

Rabid 1,936
Sounds cheap to me what's been quoted so far, Bedfordshire are 90 quid for a pickup bed, I used to charge £220 for a 3 and a bit cubic metre trailer load of good seasoned ash and oak and had more orders than I could deal with, I packed that in two years ago and still they keep ringing, never advertised once, it was all word of mouth. jok 3,260
mattyg. In my yard there are a bunch of guys who do the line clearing. That is, any trees that are likely to cause problems. Now I don't know where in the Midlands you are but I reckon you could get a hell of a load at the right money. No promises cause I don't know but if you want I'll give it an ask.
