Taking To The Hills (Picture Heavy)!!

looking out the window early Saturday morning and seeing a dusting of the white stuff, the opportunity could not be missed to grab a couple of the mutts and the nephew and head out on the hills to see what we could find.

 

it was a cracking day, bitterly cold but dry and crisp. I knew there was a good chance we would find our chosen quarry snugged away in his lair, and we were not disappointed.

 

dogs worked well hunting all the little patches of cover and the lurcher bitch was rewarded for her efforts after a fine run, she had a fine lump of the unexpected on its back.

 

all in all a nice day to be out

ha ha yes he will be treated to some new tack! lol. his mother was meant to pack him all his gear but that's all that was in his bag , so we struggled on ha ha
