Can you just put in for fac air or have you got to put in for your fac then add a fac air rifle

 

As iv been thinking of getting an fac air rifle

 

im not botherd about rim fires and such just air rifles

when you apply to can apply for what you need. but its the only time you will get the chance for slots for multiple calibers for one fee

yes you can just apply just for FAC air (its all i have on my FAC) its well worth it as its a very handy tool.

Right Paulus so say i want a 22,177,or 20, 25 iv got to say thats what i want at the start of the prosses

i had to state what calibre on my application and a mod on its own is classed as a firearm. another bonus is fac airguns are cheaper.

you will have to give a valid reason for wanting each caliber, dedicated night vision etc, most forces class fac air as non caliber specific so the need for more than one will need to be justified, but if you put say fac air.22lr..17hmr, 22.250.243 and 308 with mods then providing you have the land and suitable quarry you will get them all on your ticket, you then have five years to purchase them before your next renewal.

you can get an rfd to put a sub 12 airgun on ticket and turn it up afterwards. Im sure one of your beloved raiders would make a superb fac airgun!

This may sound like a stupid question but do you have to go thru the same security to your house ie, window locks and house alarms i no i will have to get a proper gun cabinet and get it fastened to the floor and wall

 

But is there any thing else i need to do as im going to do all this before i put in for it any way as i have quite a few rifles now and want the house locked up good any way, none at the moment are fac by the way .

yep need a cabinet bolted to wall - FAC airguns follow same procedures as powder burners, not too much of a job really and yes good standard household security.

 

if you want 2 fac airguns then you will need to apply for 2 slots and reasons why (one for dedicated NV is common) and 2 mods.

 

landowners permission from FAC passed land and then its straightforwards and not too much trouble.

Iv not been in bother with the law for over 20 yrs now and never been to jail but i cant remember all of the convictions i had or when i got them is there any way of finding out this information

 

as i will have to put them down and i want to get it right the first time as not to spoil it for my self at the start

Iv just asked my girlfriend and she said theres a thing called a DBS check, she says it's £56 quid tho
