Fly The Boy 339 Posted November 21, 2015 Report Share Posted November 21, 2015 My misses is school secretary 3 days a week, youngest is 4 and he is the last, the girl is 12, we have enough in two kids one of each, but when she had the kids she stopped working till they were about 3 1/2, we leave them with granny's 3 days week, wife gets home at 3;10 just in time to make my dinner LOL....... I have become 'er indoors........;-) We did have a crèche lined up just down the road, but after much discussion I gave up work as my wife earns about 4 times as much as I could here. No brainer! So glad we did it........I walk past that crèche now in mornings with the dog & see all these people dropping baby's off for the day....fcuk that! .....& now the mrs is off on 6 months maternity leave..... Living the dream No reason why it has to be dad earning the bacon and mum staying at home, I just think it's important atleast one parent can stay home to raise the kids as you said seeing babies being dropped off at a creche so mum can go to work just isn't right Shame it's not possible to survive on a single income for the vast majority of families these days. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
