Thats strange because all the scumbags creating anti social behaviour around here are those whos perants have never done a days work in their lives.

I worked full time when I got married in 86 , I had my eldest lad in 87... so after 3 months at home wit him I decided to go back to work but part time. so I did 5pm -10pm.... that worked until my blo

Until the kids were all at school my missus worked 2 days a week.. Friday and Saturday... she's a self employed hair dresser so jammed all her clients into those 2 days and earnt well by grafting hard

Be interested to see folks answers to this, it's my opinion that the rise of the two income household has lead to the rise in antisocial behaviour etc from kids. No ones there to raise them because both parents are working all the hours God sends just to keep their heads above water

My misus works as a mobile beautician. does a couple days a week and covers food shop and other cash stuff, days out etc. Its more like keeping in touch with her friends tho because she has done some of them for over ten years, I liken it more to a hobby than a job!

Not being raised because their parents can't be fecked, exact same result as not being raised because parents are at work all day.

You sure every single scrote causing ASB in your area are from workless households? I doubt that.

I completely agree with that and in fact I have seen it proven time and time again when I was a school governor.

As you say, it's no parents fault most of the time as life is so expensive for people because of the greed of the state that they have to both work.......it's an ideal thing for the state, double the tax ;)

My wife has been with the kids since the day they were born, when my worked in the shop or the warehouse office she just brought them with her.

Bringing them up is a full time job on its own.

I remember talking to a pal of my sister's that works in a primary school teaching reception (so what, 4 year olds?) and she was telling me that most of the new intake kids could barely talk in sentences and a lot of them weren't properly potty trained. These weren't workshy mums, it's just that the kids had been dumped on babysitters etc since they were a few months old so mum could go back to work. Like you say raising kids is a full time job by itself (and one of the most important jobs, IMO) how the feck can mums be expected to manage to juggle that on top of working full time in some wage slave job?
