swg dave 334
I have tried filming rabbits using my camcorder and a tracer 150 lamp without success, so i have a couple of question to ask those who know what they are doing and have filmed lamping rabbits successfully. 1, What is a good Vid Cam to use, Make and model 2, would you suggest a vid cam with a view finder. 3, I am thinking of getting a Blitz for the purpose of filming only but using the 150 for spotting.. Please could someone help that knows. Regards SWG DAVE......... Edited November 19, 2015 by swg dave Quote Link to post
TOMO 26,182
I've never filmed it,,,but the rabbit lamping film is the lurchermania films,,,,and they used 2 or 3 lamps,,and I think one was set on floodlight rather than a spot... 2 Quote Link to post

swg dave 334
What would anybody suggest Enforcer Blitz or Halogen Blitz and does the Enforcer Blitz go from spot to flood.. Quote Link to post
Somewhereyournot 1,117
Iv just bought an enforcer 170 HID and it's blown me away , it's a 50 w bulb and compared to my halogen 50w there is no comparison. The enforcers can be spot to flood just like other lamps too. I can't believe the beam and definition of HID lamp. Quote Link to post

I mount my jvc handcam on top of my lamp and just leave it on auto focus and it uses the hd card which works really well as the camera is nice and light which produces good filming Please could someone help that knows. Gaz_1989 9,539
I would make a metal frame which you can mount the camera and lamp to. Mount all batteries to it etc and tidy wires up out of the way. Hold it with 2 hands, and work the dog off the slip. I might try it when I've got more time on my hands. 1 Quote Link to post
