Mickey Finn 3,016
Has anyone here looked into this sport? There is a club here in Detroit and I'm thinking about visiting and looking in on one of their events or training days. I really like tracking and this is a big part of it but I've no experience with the bite training aside from watching a police dog do a take down or two. Impressive by the way. Casso 1,261
I've studied their training methods over the years, they work with the inate drive in the pup and just build on it, Was over with Alpha dogs in Indiana some years ago, they take it to a completely different level, it's all the same drive , a drive to make contact with whatever the specific prey item is be it man, rabbit , hare , tug item , It's amazing the control you can have over a dog if you control what it perceives to be prey ,
