Disapproving Wife...hunting

Recommended Posts

True story

An old mate of mine was getting married, the day before his digging partner (married to his wife's cousin) got a dog stuck in a bad place, he was the best man to boot, the wedding was early the next day, so they turned up at the church and he married her, they went home got changed and went to get the dog out, it went better than they expected, and they took a couple of fresh terriers with them, so they tried a few more earths and dug another brace while they were at it  Got to the reception and spent all night recounting the tale of the days digging with mates, she's still with him 40 odd years later somehow.

If you let trivia like a woman's opinion get in the way, hunting's not the game for you, mines been leaving me for 30 years, i should be so lucky

All this advise about getting rid of her , beating her , poisoning here , making her do more manual work to keep her occupied , getting your testicles returned etc etc .............all sound advise ma

The meat she eats doesn't commit suicide somebody has killed it after it was raised to die ... Anything you shoot will at least have had a life living free ... The bottom line is that she isn't going

Beat her unmercifully until she becomes submissive ,then beat her a bit more .

R lass int keen on it. I was always into air rifles as a kid and have always had one but minimal useage then we moved into the sticks and I got right back into it. One day she half flipped at me and said "you like bein in the countryside and wanted to move into the sticks but now we are here all you want to do is murder anything that moves!!!" upon her making this outburst I picked up my gun and went for a wander, she knows she is wastin her breath now so doesnt whinge anymore....the same as I dont try and get her to try rabbit or pigeon or oheasant anymore, you will find a balance fella.

Leave it a week or 2 and buy a couple of rat traps ... Tell her you heard something in the shed ect (as close to the house as possible!!)

Try and get someone near by to get a couple of rats and put them in the traps ... Then tell her if you had a gun these would never have been in the shed / house ect
