tote 854 Posted November 22, 2007 Report Share Posted November 22, 2007 When asked my vet told me not to give dogs ibuprofen He said to give it 1/2 an asprin. cause ibuprofen isnt suttable for under 12s I take it you dont have kids Nurofen for children contains Ibuprofen,it says on the box,age-from 3 months. ibuprofen 400mg is not sutable for kids. im on them at the moment for a broken foot Tell me chid21 where in your first post it says 400mg To be honest mate I took them for a while [400mg] for a spinal condition,all they done was harm the lining of my stomach I know a couple of folk who ended up with irritable bowel syndrome through taking ibuprofen long term. When I mentioned this to my doc he said yes they could damage the stomach yet he still prescribed them for me. Quote Link to post
