brenner 773
Don't know how to put up links but if you Google blue pride of Ireland whippet archives. You will see dogs ped. If you Google Martin h truck pedigree online you will see bitches ped. I don't want to count my chickens but all going well there will be a couple spare. I'll be sell ING them on this site so as I can keep in touch with owners for honest feedback. Won't be looking for silly moneyin short, sire is v. Tightly bred on s.s and bitch is tightly bred frisco on top and shadow x smutt bottom Quote Link to post
jeemes 4,509
good luck with them mate.If it were my litter I would be looking hard to pick out the whippet feet and avoid the flats if theres any in there showing. there will be flats because of the bull of course and if not careful could spoil a nice little strain in the future if you dont weed them out. Trouble is they dont always show until the pups a bit older.Thats why now i try to hang on to as many pups as i can for as long as i need to and cull wastage. best of luck and i hope it goes well,it could be a good foundation that. 1 Quote Link to post

brenner 773
Pups hit the ground on Friday afternoon. Difficult birth for the bitch but a shot of oxytocin a friend came over with saved the day. I was hoping for a at least a couple of bitches to choose from as luck would have it. 5 dogs 1 bitch. At least I wont have any trouble choosing lol. 4 Quote Link to post

Silversnake 1,099
Good to hear pups are born ok and good luck with them. Just curiously can a whippet bitch handle giving birth when crossed with a bull sire? Some of the heads I have seen I reckon a mastiff would struggle delivering... Quote Link to post

jeemes 4,509
See they got the dogs colouring. Not too many for her to rear anyway. Quote Link to post
brenner 773
See they got the dogs colouring. Not too many for her to rear anyway.Yeh jeemes. Funny thing is, they seem to be all black. Sire is blue and sires both parents are blue. I'm not interested in colour although given the choice I like a dark coloured dog. Maybe it's the high percentage of sooty Sam in sire that threw the blacks.i definitely thought Ide get a mixed bag of colours coming from her end. Quote Link to post

The pups have touch of red running through them it seems. I'm not sure what colour they will end as they grow but they are not a solid black Quote Link to post
