I can't speak for all bull/whippets but the ones iv seen where pocket rocket bred and we were lead to believe they was more then capable dogs when in reality they were constantly left wanting. 1 Quote Link to post

Bolted rabbits were also a struggle... Your obviously bitter bout the truth! Which I'm sure if your dog wasn't related to them we wouldn't be having this conversation.. 1 Quote Link to post
Qbgrey 4,113
Not bitter about nothing mate,if a dogs shit don't matter what breed or who bred it.I'd agree mines not got lighting take off for bolters, but I seldom ferret it nowadays.mines been good at most tasks so I can't slag them off tbh. Tallywacker 262
It ain't slagging if it's the truth.!! How can you compare yours? Quote Link to post
brenner 773
Bolting rabbits are hard enough in some spots for even the lighting sharp exceleration of a pure whippet so I imagine the addition of a high % of bull blood in to any whippet won't make a better ferreting dog. But I've been led to believe that Powell's stuff is generally not shy of teeth. I have never seen one of these dogs work, but I have seen a couple of pics of these dogs showing signs of hard graft. I would of imagined they be a handy little tool for a terrier man . Am I wrong ? , (honest question) Quote Link to post

Am I wrong ? , (honest question)obviously I'm asking for opinions of people that have owned or been out enough with one to give an honest reply ... I only ask because I've always had a passing interest in this line Quote Link to post
