Anyone Use The Nm 800 For Lamping With Dogs

I have the nm800 with the x searcher head and the red demon pill in it which I use for foxing with the rifle but I'm after a cordless lamp for running the dogs I just thought if I buy the white led for my nm800 it will save a few quid

Anyone use it for running the dogs?

I bought one for lamping with the dog and I found the beam too tight n missed a hell of a lot of bunnies even tried with flood settings but you lose the distance ,ive bought both heads and both leds find it the ideal rifle lamp but not dog lamp, went back to my clulite and picked up rabbits again no bother

Ive got a nm 800 and a x searcher head ,, I find them good for shooting but for running dogs I find the beam far to tight and it doesn't throw enough light ,, I want something that throws much more light to give the dog a chance of seeing where its going and avoiding any obstacles that are out there

They are ok to carry as back up but not to lamp with.

 

Slipper...get some good dogs an leave rifle at home.
