VWman 232
Great feed back guys, thank you very much. I think because I have the HW100KT and my son in law has shot it, he would love one but well outside what he can afford for a while but liked the quality aspect of the HW and was aware of the springers being possibly in his price range but made to a high standard. AA was not in the frame because to be honest none of the shops anywhere near us actually sell them in springer format. The other point was that there are plenty of s/h Weihrauch guns to be had and the fixed barrel models we both thought would be more accurate than a break barrel but I will quickly say that I am happy to be corrected on that issue if you guys think that is the case. We have good food for thought here now so it is a case of him reviewing what he can afford and start the search for a gun.. Thanks again Phil If you want an AA tx200 look in Free adds and put your area in and it will show you the closest ones. Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,821
For plinking, range work and ratting then would i be right in thinking static shooting off benches,bi pod or shooting sticks ? Each to their own but i would lean towards .177 and a heavy rifle = a very steady rifle, - static ! Im sure your on a back hander off the manufactures 1 Quote Link to post

sean85730 5
In regards to an earlier post, the HW57 is as accurate as the other HW springers, but with an odd loading system. Rather than a sliding breach, its breach is a pop up piece of steel with a .22 hole in it. I loved mine and regret selling it. They are similar price to a 99s Sean Quote Link to post
Coypu Hunter 486
If he wants a 97 with a silencer, then Best Fittings make a good adapter. You'll need a 7mm Allen key to take the end cap off the factory "silencer". http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=180&cat=Weihrauch Quote Link to post
