Wouldn't know that maybe no dhss welcome like most

If its like around here those houses are reserved for Asylum seekers/Refugees whatever there called

I deliver beds to many such homes on a weekly bases

Normally the houses are owned by landlords who have properties in the hundreds........They get more rent than they would if the tenant was say a British family

If they pay more than the British families then obviously the landlords are going to rent to them, that's basic free market principles.

Unless you're implying the council pay higher rates of housing benefit for the refugee families in which case I'd need to see some proof because I've never heard of that before :hmm:

They get more rent as all the properties are multiple occupancy...............Very few asylum/refugees are families the vast majority are single some couples

A normal 3 bed house that may rent for £400 a month will become a 4 bed house using the lounge and each room is rented out

They tend to keep same nationalities together

And it's only refugees that live in HMOs?

No its not only asylum seekers living in these type of properties

That doesn't mean that hundreds of these types of properties are not reserved for asylum seekers only

But you said they get more money for renting them to refugees, if they can chop the properties up into HMOs and rent them out to native British folk (as you say yourself native Brits also live in HMOs) then they'd be making the same amount of money from renting to either group :hmm:

if they are British on benefits the rent is would be paid when a tenant is in a property

these properties the rent is paid regardless as they have to be ready at short notice sometimes the bus may turn up at midnight with asylum seekers and the government/local authorities have to house them immediately

Plus these properties will not be offered to British people

Now you're claiming the councils pay these landlords rent for empty properties just incase they need them? That's ridiculous, they dont even do that for the emergency accomdation they keep on standby. Surely you've got proof to back up such an outlandish claim?

Also I'd appreciate it if you'd explain why they bother to advertise these properties that won't accept HB if they're "reserved" for refugees? :hmm: Surely that's just a waste of time, they'd just be waiting for the council to place refugees with them?

It's outlandish because I know for a fact you're talking bollocks. See I used to rent out rooms as emergency accomdation to the council and guess what, I didn't get paid if there were no tenants. Of course you'd know better than someone that's actually been involved in the business because you've delivered beds to some private HMOs

You obviously missed my edit so here it is again, would be nice to have it explained to me because it doesn't make any sense -

Also I'd appreciate it if you'd explain why they bother to advertise these properties that won't accept HB if they're "reserved" for refugees? :hmm: Surely that's just a waste of time, they'd just be waiting for the council to place refugees with them?
