Born Hunter 17,788
Your right Dave, or places in gbthey be able buy there way in an out, it some lump cash for a small regiment It's not just for 22 SAS though. It's for our entire special operations forces from all the services, the RAF drone fleet alone is to be doubled in size. And that 2B is over 5 years, not an annual budget. On a similar note the intelligence services are increasing in man power by, I believe, 15%.
*The*Field*Marshall* 674
Mmm it was music to the ears hearing this news. The Paris attacks proved further that we need men and intelligence on the ground as much a nuclear deterrent . . One good thing to come from Paris at least, some sense finally. I just hope he follows through and true.

WILF 47,353
That's the way, throw a load more of our money at the problem.......add it to the tsunami of money they are spending on getting all these f***ing oddmarks into Britain already. They have been dismantling the army wholesale for the last 3 years, no f****r says a word about that !! Honestly, you couldn't make it up.
Truther 1,579
I'm all for boosting the resources of the army/security services, but what this really says to me, specially in these cut back times, is, they know the threat level is immense, instead of addressing the real problem of the invisible enemy within they put a sticking plaster on an amputation, just a public relations exercise. They just announced a budget cut for the MET police, head of the MET say's it could cost them 5,000 coppers on the streets, robbing Peter to pay Paul, doubt they'll be any cuts in security for MP'S or select others though, can't have that can we, one way or another its only the expendable worker ants that will suffer.
