Leeview 791 Posted November 19, 2015 Report Share Posted November 19, 2015 grommets and castration rings grommets you fix your line into the groove on them after the grommet has been fitted on to the pole castration rings you put on the pole below the half hitch and then twist and pull them back over the top of the pole to sit on the top of the hitch so IMO the half hitch sits on the outside of the grommet but inside a castration ring Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post

People say that, I have longnets that I have had for years and the castration rings are fine, the odd one snaps but its no big deal, I have a few boxes in the shed. 1 Quote Link to post
