I went a belting place before the ban where we hunted Rabbit, Hare, Fox, Muntjac, Roe and CWD in one day. It was as close as I've been to "the full species" in one place.

I aren't gonna post the location on here though. Lol.

let me guess :hmm::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Quiet you ???

What a monumentally stupid thread. . . . .   I know, lets all put up the best hunting spots in the U.K, so that every moron on the internet can go and either kill it off or make it very hot.   Yo

Am I wrong though??? We live on a small island full of idiots. . . . . . . . . those wild places where the game is a plenty and the hunting is good, need protecting. The average person who wants to go

I know there's a place called Merthyr all sorts of creatures there should all go have a look lol

Im not sure if you have misunderstood what I have written???

I never debated anyones right to hunt or poach that land. . . . .

But I just wouldn't go sticking it on the net. . . . if they haven't got the desire, drive or brains to go find it for themselves, or from their friends and hunting partners. . . . . then do they deserve to know???

Next you'll be calling me an anti or something :laugh: I don't give a rats arse, many lurcher men I wouldn't have feck all to do with. . . . . . . . they cause more grief to the sport than lacs :laugh:

i would say the man talks alot of sense unless.theres something wrong with u ;)

You never know our luck, might be able to make it as shit as the dales. . . . . . . .

If people are not smart enough or willing to put the hours in to find these places themselves, . . . . . . why the hell would you want to help them a long?

As a hunter, you should look after your land. . . . . . whoring it out to the Facebook brigade. . . . .. isn't looking after it.

took the words right outa my mouth..

Deer were always my thing pre ban and i've hunted them in almost every county... And to my knowledge only two counties offer all six within a few miles of each other .. my best in one session is 3 species and i've done it with one dog a fair few times. I've had my chances to take 4 but something always stopped it from happening..

I've done a hell of a lot of exploring and rooting about in the UK and there's only one place I know where all six species of deer can be seen on the same land. (In the wild). There's also fox, hare and rabbits there too, so that would be the nearest place to a lurchermans paradise. Of course, catching them is different from seeing them. :thumbs: :thumbs:

The British Isles ain't a big place...'specially so for a keen man and an even keener dog.... :victory:

I struggle to believe that there is a place in the wild holding Chinese water deer, muntjac, sika, roe, fallow and red all on the same land. I know the 6 species share a county but deffo not a certain place?? Edited by Con6212
