No not surprised and I expect more

Unfortunately I think its going to take a lot more attacks in the likes of France/UK/Germany

I think we will see the rise of more right wing politics then maybe something will be done

I don't think peace talks will work with those who have an ideology alien to ours

Apparently it's only David Cameron and 1 other on here who were surprised.

I honestly would have been surprised if we got through xmas without a serious attack, security will be ramped up further now,but I can see at least a few near misses in the next few weeks.

This poll has pretty much gone the wy I expected it to,but it does leave one question unanswered.

Did those who approved of inviting these creatures really not expect this?

The ones on here have abstained from voting.

Of course we shouldn't be suprised.

“ISIL’s strategy is to split the world into two camps. It is that black and white. Again we know this because they told us.”

Ally said ISIL wanted to create World War III, and for societies around the world to turn on each other, and for countries like Australia to vilify Muslims.

He said this “evil organisation” believes if they can make Muslims the enemy of the West, then Muslims in France and England and America and here in Australia will have nowhere to turn but to ISIL.

“That was exactly their strategy in Iraq,” he said. “And now they want it to go global.

“Saying that out loud, it is both dumbfounding in its stupidity and bloodcurdling in its barbarity. “We are all feeling a million raging emotions right now. I am angry at these terrorists. I am sickened by the violence and I am crushed for the families that have been left behind, but, you know what, I will not be manipulated.

“We all need to come together. I know how that sounds. I know it is a cliche, but it is also true because it is exactly what ISIL doesn’t want.

“So, if you are a member of Parliament or a has-been member of Parliament preaching hate at a time when what we actually need is more love — you are helping ISIL. They have told us that. If you are a Muslim leader telling your community they have no place here or basically them saying the same thing — you are helping ISIL.

“They have told us that. If you are just someone with a Facebook or Twitter account firing off misguided messages of hate, you are helping ISIL — They have told us that.

“I am pretty sure that right now none of us wants to help these b*stards.”

Yes and if you don't 'help' ISIS and bring in more refugees all you have to put up with is ghettos, welfare strain, gang rapes, crime and terror attacks.all these problems existed in many places around the world long before ISIS mate.

Not wanting a strange foreign race who follow a strange foreign religion in your country isn't hate,it's a love of your own people or an appreciation of real human diversity.

Did you mean ISIL or muslim? They are not the same. All catholics don't support the IRA. Etc etc.

It probably means what it says Muslims.......ISIS is just one of the many Muslim groups Al Qaeda is another

All are made up of Muslims from all over the world fighting to force their ideology on others

IRA was totally different

How? Don’t think they were exactly the same that’s obvious but enough similarities to make a good comparison.

After all were they not Catholics fighting to be a Catholic country in a protestant one, don't think there were many protestants members of the IRA..
