In the light of the Paris shootings I think the law needs to change to allow let's say 20% of the general,population of that country carry a concealed weapon ... The people vetted and licensed should be ex firearm police officers and ex servicemen that have done a minimum time in the forces of ten years and were qualified weapon instructors ... If only one person had a weapon in that rock concert the fatalities would have been much lower ......

Sounds perfectly sensible to allow people with a long and proven track record to carry a concealed weapon......its the day course Andy Mcnab wannabee,s im not so sure of.

It could be far more stringent than military weapon handling tests,there will be people who post on here much more competent than a lot of soldiers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual, prior to World War II, was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians, most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food products in your local supermarket. Foods on aircraft have the halal emblem, just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding throughout the world.

In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of ?no-go? zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuses to acknowledge British law.

As for we who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Yes the new government are very much against Muslim immigration and have told Jean Claud Wanker and Merkel that due to the Paris killings they will not risk the lives of their citizens by letting them into Poland.

Literally all on the first page of Google, did you even look to see if Muslims had been condemning the attack before making your silly little post?

How about actively working with police and intelligence agencies to share any knowledge of potential extremists or why is there no group in any Islamic communities with the sole job of pacifying

and condemning extremist beliefs and dangers? The main reason is they would be ostracised, intimidated, threatened, bashed, shot,etc. I know of a Muslim doctor here in Oz who openly criticises extremism and he and his kids have experienced all of the above bar being shot but I would not be surprised if that happens soon. As far as I know he is a lone voice in the whole muslim community. Islamic groups verbally condemn these attacks and think that is enough, but I ask where is the real action?

There's plenty of anti extremist activity in the Muslim community, Imams cooperating with the security services, anti-radicalisation charities, groups that give talks in schools etc etc. If you're not seeing it it's obviously because you're not looking for it.

And there obviously not working either.

I'm not debating the effectiveness of the schemes but to come into this thread and say the Muslim community hasn't condemned the attacks and does nothing to combat extremism is ridiculous and demonstrably false.

It is true I don't look very hard for these things although I often ask muslim people these questions.Genuine question BGD can you give me some examples of these groups, I think they should be supported and commended if they are genuinely trying to combat extremism. I shouldn't have said 'why is there NO groups doing anything' what I really meant is there is nowhere near enough (my bad) of Muslims within their community doing what they can. I know of mosques frequented by criminals and hate preachers and they are accepted in the mosque openly as good muslim boys and often held in high esteem in the community. I know this for a FACT in more than one case.I did even give the only example I know of where a Muslim is fighting against extremism and he and his family have suffered terribly. A LOT more has to be done but anybody with any common sense knows the problems will never be fixed from within the Muslim community and the only way I see will be the same way these problems have always been fixed through out history is one side crushing the other. The Muslims know this, the sooner we in the west realise it the better.

I believe this is the very beginning of WW3 just it won't be like WW2/WW1.

The extremists are every where and will never be excluded from mainstream islamic communities. It won't take much for the home grown extremists to find a set of bollocks and try their luck.

They will have a small following at the beginning but the more momentum they have then the more moderate muslims will stop sitting on the fence and will follow like faithful sheep but like sheep with teeth.

And because it is a fanatical extremist religion when it takes hold diplomatic methods won't work or threats of force or peacekeeping operations.

It will take deadly force on a large scale ironically similar to what the extremists are doing right now.

It will come down to cure which will be a lot more bloody than prevention but the likes of Merkel and harem don't want to acknowledge that.

The governments worldwide WILL have to do something about it but it won't be the current tranche of ball less islam arse lickers that we unfortunately have in power now.
