Since my my 20s been self employed, but these last few years have been an employee. The thing that I find most irritating is the bosses who like their arses being kissed.

 

Making plans to not be an employee too long term, but have got used to the salary in the bank every month, a few bonuses throughout the year and getting holiday pay!

 

Its beating finding the client, pricing the job, getting the materials, doing the job, & getting paid, hands down at the moment.

Ive worked for myself for a lot of years now, always employed people now employ quite a few... and I hate brown nose types who tell you what they think you want to hear, whilst you know behind your back they are doing what the f**k they like, and usually dragging another decent lad into it... you learn to spot them and they don't last long once you do.... As an employer all you want is people who turn up on time do the hours and turn out a decent job, licking your ass don't pay the bill...

Also from what I've seen the middle management types are the worse, definitely in the building industry, tell you one thing then cover their asses to the boss with something else, hate dealing with some of them, no backbone at all, if you f**k up put your hands up and take a bollocking...
