I lost snd Mrs and a house due to backstabbing "mates". The "I'm alright jack" brigade but will soon put you in it should their position become under question....

Back on my feet and doing just nice now, now the same mates ask if I've got any work.

Yes I'm very bitter and yes I hold s grudge but the best you can do is just laugh at em.

They'll get what's coming to em!

Life is full of bell ends..I work with a couple but they aren't shy of work just bell ends in general lol..the idle ones I can not tolerate ..I've got myself in a bit of trouble over the years and upset a few along the way ..

I've lost jobs and finished jobs myself over bellends. I've just got to tell them straight to there faces I can't sit back cos my blood will boil. If you speak your mind sometimes people can relate but a lot of the time they can't lol

Bit long winded but to sum it up, worked for a mates dad, after a few years my face didn't fit and I was getting stitched up at every turn..... Turns out I was being grassed on by the blokes I was giving lifts to work!

Found myself with no work, yet they were all still working.... Took its toll on a 13year relationship. Ended up walking out as I couldn't provide money to pay mortgage, signed the lot over to her. (Still good friends with her).

There's a bit more to it that's take ages to go into but basically these "mates" know that I know and still talk to me.

Sparkly new van, nice house ,plenty of work coming in and they are still trapcing the country doing shit jobs mostly on nights and moaning about.

Smug? Me? Never!

Wouldn't give rm the dripping from the end of my nose!

Just human nature... Some folk thrive on being dirty b*****ds and some folk thrive on trying (somtimes failing) to get on with things in the right way.

You're in s much better position if you KNOW who they are then you can play em accordingly.

I agree knowledge is power, once you know and understand a situation or person/people it is much easier to sit back pull strings and laugh. I recommend to always look after the good people, work out the bad people and try not to take it all too seriously. Atvb.

I'm lucky enough to know an old boy who taught businesses/companys psychology in the work place! He's taught me a thing or two how folk work or don't work! The best one is delay tactics, and how far people will actually go to not do anything!

Another one he told me was to directly challenge someone on how they are behaving and it's ok to disagree with things!

So sit back and watch, think about what it is that bothers you and wether it's worth challenging about ( in a non confrontation manner) cos if you get angry, or react, you've lost.
