Gaz_1989 9,539
Thanks for replies fellas. Terry - Wish you were right. But she's bouncing to go again now. Haha. Tank - I didn't really keep a count. Probably about 8 slips I reckon. 2 were really unlucky, bloody rabbits were sat on a field set which is really unusual the place we went, not had it happen there before. So that confused her. She caught the first and last rabbit of the night. First one ran in the bottom of a tree and she put her head in and pulled it out which impressed me for a youngster. She also missed a couple by losing them in the beam. Just down to experience really. Jon - Cheers mate. Putting plenty of time into her. She's been hard work as a pup but settling down now and think it's all coming together. 1 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
I didn't class it as a bad night. 4 in her mouth, starting to watch the beam, coming straight back when lamp went off, confirmed what I already thought about her being very keen, ended the night with 10 in the bag and only 10 mins from home. She was bouncing to go again today anyway... 3 Quote Link to post
Guest Navek
Wouldn't say it was a bad nite pup had a run and had acouple in its mouth surly that's wat it's about . Pup is a pup doesn't need be hammering them yet and doesn't need be pulling 100 just yet Quote Link to post

Pup is a pup doesn't need be hammering them yet and doesn't need be pulling 100 just yet I suppose a good night to me is a shit night to someone else. Could of taken my brindle bitch and got a decent bag of mid 20s or 30s with ease. But watching a pup come on and learn the job and make mistakes is what it's all about. She wouldn't of learnt anything in the kennel. And I don't need 100 rabbits anyway. Freezer is full. Haha. 1 Quote Link to post
